The 16th World Micromachine Summit in Dortmund
The leading micro- and nanotechnology regions in science and economy will meet up at the 16th World Micromachine Summit from April 28 to 30, 2010, in Dortmund, known as the center of small and medium-sized microtechnology enterprises in Germany. Initiated in 1995 by the Micromachine Center in Japan, the Micromachine Summit today shows a snapshot of industrial, scientific and political micro and nano activities worldwide.
Intents of the World Micromachine Summit
- 1. Deliver information on the current state of the major areas of micro- and nanotechnology (MNT) as well as of its integration
- 2. Introduce the attendees to a network of businesses, universities, government agencies, and service providers focused on MNT
- 3. Provide a forum for world-wide networking with leaders in MNT
- 4. Provide opportunities to showcase regional MNT efforts and facilities
Procedure
The main sessions will feature reports on activities within each region or country. Observers are also invited to attend these sessions. The delegates and observers are selected for participation through the Chief Delegate for their country or region.
